Where To Take Measures

  1. Use pillow encasings
  2. Use mattress and box spring encasings
  3. Use HEPA air cleaners
  4. Use air conditioners
  5. Use a ULPA or HEPA vacuum cleaner
  6. Wear a face mask when housecleaning

Along with the many products now available, there are also many actions you can take to help eliminate irritants in your bedroom.

  • Wash all bedding in hot water every 7 to 14 days
  • Avoid upholstered furniture
  • Use shades or blinds in place of curtains
  • Cover hot air vents
  • Avoid dust collectors
  • Keep all clothing in the closet with the door shut
  • Remove all carpeting, use washable throw rugs instead
  • Don’t use vaporizers
